Post on behalf of Te Korihi o te Tui Childrens Choir and Opera North Chamber Choir.
Two local choirs – a childrens choir and an adult choir – will be performing on Sunday 16 June at 3pm in the Coronation Hall, Waipu. This will be an important concert for Te Korihi o Te Tui Childrens Choir and the Opera North Chamber Choir as they prepare for the international World Choir Games in Auckland in July.
Both choirs draw members from across the Bream Bay area. Children in Te Korihi o Te Tui are enjoying meeting their counterparts from Ruakaka Primary School, One Tree Point Primary School or Waipu Primary School – as the case may be – for the first time.
Tickets will be $5 on the door. Children free. This event is expected to be very popular so an early arrival is recommended.
