Ruakākā - Spaces for hire

The following spaces are available at St. Paul’s:

Hall

The hall is ‘classic’ in lay-out. There is a large polished floor typically used as the seating or games area and a raised stage at the front. The hall is suitable for concerts, large meetings, away days, workshops, gatherings of all sorts, and indoor exercise and sporting activities. Tables and chairs are stored on the stage area when they are not in use.  

Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, kettle, fridge, crockery and cutlery. It is often hired in conjunction with the hall.

 

 

The Pavilion works as a Tea Room or Committee Room for social and professional occasions. 

A comfortable room suitable for gatherings, meetings and get togethers the Pavilion can seat up to twenty people. The attached kitchenette means tea and coffee making facilities and use of a fridge are included in the hire.

 Toilet facilities are accessible inside the building and automatically included in all hiring arrangements.

Facilities are suitable for access by the disabled.

RATES for ROOM and HALL HIRE for MEETINGS:

St. Paul’s Pavilion: $25/hr + GST
St. Paul’s Hall: $25/hr or $250 all day + GST.
St. Paul’s Church: $25/hr + GST.

Deposit & up front payment: !00% of total cost + $50 cash key deposit (refundable).

Notes:
(i) See the Marriages, Blessings, Funerals page for separate rates pertaining to those events.
(ii) There is a small discount on the above rates for those who give regularly to the church.

Waipu - Spaces for use by community groups

The Tea room and St. Peter’s church itself may be accessed and used by community groups subject to availability and suitability.

The church can seat up to 100 people while the tea room can seat up to twenty for tea and coffee. When the tea room is used as a meeting room, up to ten people may be seated at a central table in comfort. The tea room includes a kitchenette.
