You may be interested in a forthcoming June concert in Matakana (Friday, 27 June, 7.30 or Sunday, 29 June, 4pm for the Warkworth concert) and a wonderful opportunity in July to hear one of Auckland’s leading organists, John Wells, on one of Auckland’s leading organs. The Organ in the Ponsonby Baptist Church on Jervois Rd, Ponsonby, was purchased by early settlers and sent back to England – at least once – for repairs. There are three opportunities – lunchtime on Monday 21 July, Wednesday 23 July and Friday 25 July. This will be a special concert.
